Warm-hearted Kitchen Assistant (m/f/d) – €16.50/hour – Part-time or Full-time

Gut Wehlitz welcomes young students and trainees from many different
European countries. For several weeks, our campus becomes their home
away from home – and our kitchen is one of its most important meeting
places.

We are looking for a friendly and reliable kitchen assistant (m/f/d)
to join us as soon as possible, either part-time or full-time.

This position is about more than preparing and serving food or keeping
the kitchen tidy. Many of our young guests are away from their
families for the first time. Sometimes they need a kind word, someone
who will listen or a person who can be a little like a mum or dad away
from home.

Your role:
• helping to prepare our daily meals
• serving food and creating a welcoming atmosphere
• keeping the kitchen clean and organised
• giving our international students and trainees a warm welcome
• occasionally listening, encouraging or offering a little practical advice

You do not need formal culinary training. Kitchen experience is
helpful, but reliability, hygiene awareness, practical skills and
enjoying contact with young people are more important to us.
