Flatmate Wanted – Women-Only Shared Flat in Steglitz

Hello! I’m looking for a new female flatmate for our women-only shared flat in Steglitz, approximately 5 km from Freie Universität Berlin (FU).

There will be three women living in the flat in total, including me. I’m looking for someone who:
* Is a woman
* Is looking for long-term accommodation
* Is willing to clean up after herself and help keep the communal areas clean and tidy

The Room & Flat
1. Room size: approximately 14 m2
2. Number of residents: 3 women in total, including me
3. Rental period: 1 January 2027 – 31 December 2028 (2 years; an extension may be possible)
4. Smoking: not allowed
5. Pets: not allowed
6. Location: Steglitzer Damm, approximately 5 km from FU

Rent & Other Costs
1. Rent: €374/month (gas and water included)
2. Additional monthly costs: €131, covering:
* Electricity
* Internet
* Broadcasting fee (Rundfunkbeitrag)
* Other shared expenses
The gas costs are included in the rent and are covered by the landlord based on average consumption. However, if the actual gas consumption exceeds the expected average, an additional payment (Nachzahlung) may be required.
The electricity costs are currently estimated based on the average usage and costs over the past year. Actual costs may vary depending on consumption and energy prices. If additional payments become necessary, you will be informed accordingly.
3. Total monthly cost: €505
4. Shared consumables: approximately €10/month (e.g. toilet paper)
Please note that additional payments may arise depending on actual gas and electricity consumption and costs.

Deposit
Deposit: €400.

Cleaning & House Rules
We value a clean and tidy shared living space. Everyone is expected to clean up after themselves and take care of the communal areas. We also have a few house rules regarding cleaning and ventilation to help keep the flat comfortable for everyone.

Furniture
My former flatmate would like to sell the furniture she used in the room.
